Scenic Shaoxing

Hi back again ... Youknow that Shaoxing is built on many canals. In fact there are more canals here in the Shaoxing/KeQiao area than in Suzhou. And Suzhou is world famous for being the "Venice of the east". Anyway we went on a canla ride around the city twice .. once by day and then again by night. I will let the picture talk for themselves. But this is a very prosperous part of china. Zhejiang province (where we are) and Guandong province (Guanzhou) are the 2 wealthiest provinces in all of China. there are ots of BMW, Merc's, Lexus and Audi's to be seen on the streets here.

So I hope some of the pictures reflect the up market apartments on the canals. See what you think.

Yes i am back ... better late than never

and yes it is ages since ai made a post. i wont bore you with all the details but will try and catch up now. Here are some people that I have made friedns with when I was at Shaoxing.
You have already met some students. Here are a few others ... Liu Jing - student who was very interested to improve her engrish.
There are many students from all my classes that I had a good relationship with. Actually not possible toput them all here. But here is a few from Class 20 who made classes very enjoyable. Maying, Jessica, Jenny and Elmo. ok and here are a couple who became my good friends. I even went to their home town and met the parents, grandparents, had THE dinner and all. Daisy and Shirley. and there are more more more. but here is a pic of my favourite class 18. they were just a pleasure to be around. smart good looking fun and made my Tuesdays very happy time.
thats it for today. my battery is flat. but more tomorrow. I have olympic torch day, some site of Shaoxing, other places i went, yangmei(fruit) picking ... balabala
