Check this out, the first week I did not have any idea what was going on. But turns out almost all the students are from Shanghai. And it is still and hour+ away by bus. plus once you get there travel is required to get to other parts of the city. BIG city. anyway Friday about 10am all these buses start arriving at college to take the students back to Shanghai and parts.
Believe me these are just a few of the buses that arrive here. literally dozens and dozens of them.
And of course right outside my apartment, so there is no getting away from it unless I go out early. Oh did i tell you that I work just Monday to Wednesday 2.20pm. Part time work full time money. good gig I think.
cheers, check this pic out

Mike-it was just like that a few times in FuYang-a busload of buses would turn up and block the highway back for a kilometer or so , followed by all the parent's cars similarly blocking the roadway and it would take a fair while for the students, buses and cars to disappear. That then left a bit of an adventure to try and find which one of the multiple cafeterias were open for the students(and me) to eat at. Once or twice I just gave up looking and went to KFC to eat.
By the way I got a call from ACC asking if I wanted to teach in Korea for a while!! I declined.
